Edition Binding

The Redbone Bindery undertakes edition binding for small publishers and fine presses on runs of up to 50 books. These editions can be bound all at once, or in small quantities as required by the publisher. Bindings can be of paper, cloth, leather and in a combination of materials.

The publisher is encouraged to approach the bindery before the text is laid out so that binding considerations can be incorporated into the text design.

After binding decisions have been made, a prototype is built. This gives both the publisher and the binder the opportunity to make final changes to the design ensuring a sound and pleasing result.
